Today, we say goodbye to the fairytale town of Sintra and hit the road toward Porto, with a stop in the medieval hilltop town of Óbidos. You’ll have plenty of free time to amble through its photogenic,  flower-draped alleys, do some window shopping, and soak up the atmosphere. Stroll cobbled streets lined with whitewashed houses, pop into quirky bookshops and artisan boutiques, and climb the castle walls for sweeping views. Don’t forget to snap a photo in front of the 12th-century fortress—this picturesque town was once a wedding gift to Portuguese queens.

Next, we’ll make our way to Porto, the birthplace of the legendary Port wine, where you’ll have the evening free.

Today, we’ll experience the breathtaking Douro Valley wine region in style, famous for its terraced vineyards and world-class wines.
