Make sure to have a light breakfast this morning because we're going to eat our way through downtown Lisbon. We'll explore the multicultural Mouraria, where the soul of fado music echoes through the streets, before heading to the lively Baixa district, with its stunning views of the Tagus River. Our tour will culminate at a lunch spot in Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest quarter, famous for its traditional Fado music and authentic Portuguese dining spots. We'll have some tapas for lunch as you're treated to a private Fado show — Portugal's soulful and traditional music.

After lunch and the Fado show, you can head back to the hotel with the group or explore more of Lisbon at your own pace and catch a taxi back.

Escape the crowds as we head to the Alentejo region where we'll check out a stunning 800-hectare vineyard and cork forest. Meet the passionate cork farmer and hop into a jeep for an adventure around the sprawling estate and learn about the little-known process of cork production.

Afterward, kick back and enjoy a tasting of the estate’s top-notch wines paired with a hearty lunch consisting of Alentejo’s traditional dishes.

Full belly in tow, head to Evora where a local guide will accompany you through this picturesque town as you uncover its deep-rooted history and pay a visit to the eerie Chapel of Bones. Afterward, you'll have some free time around Evora's town center before we head back to Sintra.

We'll start the day with a visit to a creamery in the town of Azeitão where you’ll discover the special recipe for the local, creamy cheese named after the town it hails from. From sheep to the final product, we'll witness the artistry behind this specialty and of course, get to taste it! What is a cheese tasting without some wine? Next, we'll get to sip on some delightful Muscat wines at one of the oldest family-run wineries in the region, a place that's been making wine for more than 100 years!

Later in the morning, we will visit a small, family-owned tile workshop where you can learn the centuries-old techniques passed down throughout the generations and paint your own tiles!

After a morning of Portuguese traditions, we will make our way to the coastal village of Sesimbra. You’ll have some free time to unwind and get some lunch on your own terms before heading back. We recommend the catch of the day as this town is known for its fresh fish! On our way back to the hotel, we'll make a stop at the towering Christ the King statue where you can enjoy far-reaching views of Lisbon.

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether you want to unwind in peace or set off on a new adventure. There are plenty of historic sites in Sintra that attract fewer crowds but are just as impressive. We recommend the majestic Monserrate Palace and its exotic gardens, the enigmatic Moorish Castle overlooking Sintra, or Biester Palace where The Ninth Gate featuring Johnny Depp was filmed.

In Lisbon, you could explore the Belem area, home to Belém Tower which sits regally upon the Tagus River and the photogenic Monastery of Jerónimos. The National Ajuda Palace is a great way to walk through the lavish lifestyles of Portugal's once rich and famous. The Earthquake Museum is an unusual experience where you can see and feel a remake of the 1755 earthquake that rocked Lisbon. The lively Time Out Market is a good place full of stalls where you can taste Portuguese street food.

First up today is the medieval town of Óbidos, known for its colorful streets and magnificent 12th-century castle looming over the town. Enjoy some free time rest to explore the town at your own pace and stroll through the town's lively alleyways or do some souvenir shopping in one of the many shops found in the town.

Afterward, meet again and depart to Nazaré, the Holy Grail of surfing and where the highest wave ever was surfed.  Start at the lower part of town where you will have some free time to grab some lunch near the sandy shores. Nazaré is a food lover's dream, with countless spots dishing out the freshest fish you'll ever taste! Don't miss the two signature dishes: the flavorful paella and the iconic cataplana – a rich seafood stew served in a distinctive clam-shaped pot!

After lunch, head to the upper part of town and visit the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo for breathtaking views of these powerful waves followed by some free time in the upper part of the town.
