Begin the day with a visit to the ancient city of Jerash, also known as the City of a Thousand Columns. Step into the pages of history as you explore its colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theaters, baths, fountains, and city walls.

Have lunch together and next up is a short journey through a beautiful pine forest and olive groves to the castle of Ajlun. The castle has a fascinating history and you'll learn all about it as you enjoy the magnificent views of the Jordan Valley.

To end the day, return to Amman where there will be a brief panoramic tour of the city followed by another delicious dinner together.

After breakfast, stop by Madaba, The City of Mosaics, where you can admire the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land and Jerusalem in St. George's Church.

Next, visit Mount Nebo, where Moses first saw the Promised Land. Once there, take a moment to admire the stunning views of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and hills of Jerusalem before heading for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, journey to the infamous rose-red city of Petra via the King's Highway, an ancient route that traders, armies, and pilgrims traveled along centuries ago. This evening, get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime experience... Petra in darkness shrouded by an enchanted veil of candlelight. Photos do not do it justice but it is still best to have your camera handy for some amazing shots!

Today, unveil the secrets of Petra, one of the 7 World Wonders. Make your way through the narrow gorge and catch a glimpse of the iconic Treasury's facade peeking through the gorge walls. Explore the ancient Roman road, the grand amphitheater, and the tombs within the site. If you are feeling adventurous, you can also climb up to the Monastery for a bird's-eye view of the entire site. After your Petra adventure, lunch will be served at a local restaurant near the Petra historical area.

You have the rest of the day to relax and explore the town of Petra at your own pace.

In the morning, make a quick stop at Little Petra and then, hit the road toward the otherworldly desert of Wadi Rum. This is where "The Martian" was filmed thanks to its extraterrestrial landscapes. Upon arrival in the most remote place you could imagine, discover your accommodation for the next two nights... A desert camp from another planet! You will be sleeping in a Martian-esque bubble dome with windows that allow you to look upward at a blanket of twinkling stars right from your bed!

Just before sunset, hop in a jeep as you venture further into vast expanses of red sand and rocky outcroppings and witness the sun paint the sky beautiful warm shades of yellow, orange, and red.

As the day comes to an end, head to your dome and fall asleep to the most beautiful show the sky has to offer.

Early this morning, you will have the option of hopping in a hot air balloon* to drift high in the sky at sunrise. Experience the stillness of the desert as you float up, up, up over the golden sand dunes and red rock formations.

Afterward, gear up for a jeep expedition through Wadi Rum's striking desert scenery. After seeing its unusual rock formations, natural rock bridges, and scattered rocky peaks, you'll quickly understand why this desert is called the Valley of the Moon!

You will have the rest of the day free to go for a hike, a camel ride*, or simply stroll around and take in some amazing views of the valley.

Tonight, get ready for the ultimate stargazing experience. Wadi Rum is a top destination for stargazing thanks to its clear skies and low light pollution. A professional astronomer will show you around the night sky and teach you how the Bedouins use the stars to navigate the vast desert. Try to spot various constellations and horoscopes and learn about the myths surrounding them.

After breakfast, head to the city of Kerak to visit the Crusader's Castle, built on top of a ridge, separated from the old fortified town by a moat.

Then, get back on the road to continue onward to the lowest point on Earth's surface to your top-notch hotel at the Dead Sea, offering its very own private beach, three swimming pools, and a jacuzzi. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind. Bob like a buoy on the sea's surface while reading a book or get down and dirty with a Dead Sea mud bath. Treat your skin to a rejuvenating soak while turning into a muddy swamp monster!
